Who we are
Ignite Strategies builds software products, including GoFast (gofastcrushgoals.com), a training and lifestyle app for runners and athletes. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our websites and apps.
Information we collect
- Account data: such as name, email address, and credentials you provide when you sign up or use GoFast.
- Profile and preference data: settings and information you choose to save in the app (for example, goals or training preferences).
- Fitness and activity data: when you connect third-party services (including Garmin Connect), we may receive activity-related data you authorize (for example, workouts, training metrics, location or sensor data associated with activities, and identifiers needed to sync your account). The exact data depends on what you allow through Garmin’s authorization and APIs.
- Technical data: device type, browser or app version, approximate location from IP where needed for security or service delivery, and standard server logs.
How we use your information
We use this information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve GoFast and related products.
- Display your training data, plans, and progress in the app.
- Sync workouts and related data with services you connect (such as Garmin) when you choose to connect them.
- Communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates (you can opt out of non-essential messages where applicable).
- Protect our services, detect abuse, and comply with law.
Artificial intelligence and automated systems
GoFast and related Ignite Strategies products do use third-party AI and AI-powered tools for some features. This section describes that use at a high level so you can understand what may happen with your information when those features are available or enabled.
Summary: We use OpenAI (and similar vendors we contract with) for tasks such as summarization, structuring text, and optional assistant-style features. For those features we do not send direct personal identifiers (for example your name, email, or Garmin user ID) to the model; we limit inputs to the content needed for the specific task.
- Optional AI-assisted features in GoFast may include, depending on the version of the product you use: turning unstructured workout descriptions (for example, text you paste from a coach or another app) into structured workout steps; coaching or assistant-style responses in the app where offered; and similar natural-language or generation features. These features typically send the minimum text needed to perform the task to an external model provider (for example OpenAI or another vendor we contract with). They are not used to operate the core Garmin Connect authorization or workout sync unless a specific feature combines both.
- Training plans and scheduling may be produced by deterministic, rule-based logic and/or by AI-assisted flows, depending on product version and how you create a plan. In AI-assisted flows, inputs such as your goals, preferences, or calendar context may be included in prompts to generate or refine plan content.
- Internal tools (for example coach or admin workflows) may use AI for clustering, summarization, or content organization. Such processing is limited to operational needs and is subject to our agreements with subprocessors.
- What we do not do: We do not sell your data to AI vendors. Third-party AI providers process data under their terms and ours only as needed to deliver the feature you triggered or that applies to your account.
If you use only Garmin Connect linking and standard sync without AI-specific features, your Garmin authorization and activity data exchange with Garmin is governed by Garmin’s consent flow and API terms; AI processing applies only where a separate AI feature applies and sends content to a model provider as described above.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run the product: for example, with infrastructure and email providers that process data on our behalf under agreements, or with Garmin when you explicitly connect your Garmin account so we can read or write the data you authorize. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us (see below).
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and careful handling of credentials and tokens for connected services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to reduce risk and review our practices over time.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us at the email below. You can disconnect third-party integrations (such as Garmin) from within the app or your account settings where available.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy where allowed by law. Where our integrations with third-party developer programs (including Garmin) require notice or approval of privacy-related changes, we will follow those program rules.
